Up front and honest.Wouldn't take a job on what he said is more appropriate for a commercial plumber (who handles our company's type of device), and sent a reference which helped big time. In a world where people are taking tasks just-for-the-heck-of-it even when they are untrained for them, I find this honesty and referal invaluable.

Our sink was leaking causing the bottom of the sink floor to distort and the water pressure was minimal. Now, Let me start with "The other guys". They came 1.5 hr later than expected and their est. was $600 for labor. So I saw Tony's company on yelp, called him for a second opinion and BAM! Showed up on time professionally dressed, got the job done right then and there with labor $178! He went to the nearest Home Depot and found a perfect faucet to replace ours too (cost of faucet was separate, of course). He is up front, honest, and did a great job! He game me a yelp discount too and I am going to keep his number forever :). Thank you Tony!

This is my first review on yelp, and I have to write it because I am so happy with Tony's workmanship and enthusiasm. I had two plumbing issues in two separate properties. One was a dishwasher leak, the other was a laundry leak. Tony visited both my properties in 2 days, and fixed both issues promptly. Next week he even came by and checked on the leak, because I suspected the leak still existed. He did not charge me for this visit. Tony didn't waste time at all. Very friendly guy as well. Can't go wrong with him. This is not a fake review, this is real. I am writing this review because I am so impressed with his work.

Tony is great. My kitchen sink had a broken pipe. I called him Saturday morning. He came out within the hour. Fixed my problem in about 2 hours and he price was very good. I sure will call on him again if I have any other plumbing problems.

I had a serious plumbing issue with my water heater. I was told by other plumbers that the heater had to be replaced. Those guys gave extremly high estimates. I found Tony's plumbing here on Yelp. Tony located a valve that was leaking on top of the water heater and explain that the heater didn't have to be replaced. Thank god! Tony was polite and respectful, but most of all honest. His price for the repair was well within my budget. He won me over and I will never use anyone else. I will be sure to recommend him to all my family and friends!

Mine wasn't a major problem or emergency, but I made an appointment on Friday for Monday morning... Tony called and said he had an emergency he had to attend to, and he'd be a little late, which was fine with me. He showed about thirty minutes later. In my experience, most places wouldn't have bothered calling.
He got right to snaking out the drain and we talked while he worked. Real friendly guy, and seemed pretty attentive to his work. Got the drain cleaned out and then some, he cleaned up and was on his way. Good prices--the lowest I found for this job, and there's coupons on their website for various services. Way better than any of the corporate places I've dealt with in the past, couldn't recommend them more highly!

Tony's great! He had to remove our old faucet, and install a new one, but it wasn't as simple as you'd think it would be, it was kind of tricky...Not that he fixed the problem, he also knows what he's doing. He was prepared to fix our problem, showed up on a short notice, he even brought he's own towel for any leakage under the sink. Very thoughtful!
He has reasonable rates. He's the guy you want to call if you want your problem fixed.

Tony came out to unclog a drain on short notice. He was on time and showed up with a very amusing branded van. His friendly demeanor engaged us immediately and he got right to the job at hand. He easily displayed his knowledge and knew just how to solve our problem.
He casually mentioned that he came out on his day off because his wife was busy and he had some free time. This approach is what working with a small business is all about.
Tony put his time in learning his trade working for larger plumbing companies and now he is doing his own thing.
So do you want to work with a big company call center giving you obscure information and mystery pricing or do you want to deal directly with the owner who will do a great job at an honest price.
I say Tony is the guy.

Excellent service! They came out within 3 hours of my call and fixed the clogged shower drain within 2 minutes! Price was a little steep for only a few minutes, but that's how they roll in this industry! I highly recommend Tony for all your plumbing needs!!! :o)

Excellent Plumbing Service........ I used several plumbers in my life and never met a plumber quite like Tony. He was polite, honest and very reasonable with his quote. I had a stopped up sink that seem to fill my shower in the master bedroom with this black nasty water. I found Tony’s plumbing thru a Google search for Santa Clara Plumbers. Tony himself showed up on time. His work was fast, cleaned and efficient. It was obvious he knew what he was doing. He was also very informative and knowledgeable in answering all my questions. I will never use any other plumber and will recommend Tony’s Plumber to all my family and friend, Good Job Tony!!!

I work at a apartment complex, I was referred to him by my maintenance man. Tony has come out to the property several times, and he always gets the work done, right and quick! His estimates are always that same as the invoices, sometimes a little cheaper which is always nice. Tony is very professional and you can always count on him to get the work done! Excellent service by Tony himself. I've had a few different emergencies in my home, and Tony handled each one with professionalism. I'm one to ask a lot of questions and Tony would answer each question and explain what he was doing and suggest preventive mainteance in the future.

Excellent Service! I called at 8:15 a.m. with an emergency. When I arrived at work , water was leaking from the ceiling. Tony arrived in less than 1 hour...diagnosed the problem (water heater was shot), installed new water heater and even vacuumed up the huge puddle by noon. He was very informative and his estimate was exactly what he invoiced us. I will definitely recommend him to friends & businesses.

I am very pleased with Tony's Santa Clara Plumbing. I had an urgent situation, where a client of mine was out of the country, and their outside spigot was leaking water. A different client referred me to Tony's, and they were there within an hour.
The speed with which they dealt with an urgent situation was impressive. But in addition to their response time, the job was also well done. I wasn't there while the actual work was being completed, but I know it was taken care of, because everything was in order when I returned. Also, there was no mess, which was really nice.
I expect a lot out of people, and Tony's gave me what I wanted out of a plumber. They took care of everything. It was a great experience.

A little background---My house is over 100 years old and much of the plumbing is not to code, unless secret code counts... A few days ago, my upstairs shower was clogged and vomiting black goo (Yuck!). I called Tony simply because he was local. He was fantastic! He tried the usual cures, tested this and that, asked questions, snaked and plunged, nothing worked. Even though his schedule was full, he didn't want to give up and thus called a colleague Ron, from National Rooter. Together they pieced the plumbing puzzle together and ended up snaking the shower from the roof! It worked! My shower drains like a charm, and the charge was not through the roof even though they had to climb up on it!

Tony's Plumbing really got me out of a jam when my supposedly "one-stop-shopping" countertop/sink installation turned into a complicated multi-part project. The size and location of my new sink didn't match the previous sink, so nothing was fitting back together. Due to a convoluted situation, I needed a plumber on really short notice, before a long holiday weekend, to replace my kitchen plumbing.
I found Tony on http://www.servicemagi... (which is like 1-800-Dentist for non-dental stuff) because I didn't really see what I was looking for here on yelp. He responded to my call promptly & was at my house right away. He was able to resolve the problem that same evening, even though it was not a simple task, and it went way beyond a typical 5pm business day. The price he quoted for labor on the job was the price I paid... there were NOT any extra/hidden fees for an emergency or overtime or anything. There was something wrong with the faucet I had originally purchased... it wouldn't swivel like it was supposed to, and it made a strange noise. Tony said it would make him uncomfortable if it were his own faucet. He said if I got another one, he would come back the next day & swap them free of charge. I called the next day, and he was able to fit me in between appointments. My mom was there to let him in, and she said he was "exceptional and a really nice guy!" I agree. He was really thorough about double-checking his work & looking for leaks.
